Antidote 10’s Network Version Is Now Available

Druide informatique is pleased to announce the release of Antidote 10 v2 for network installation. Launched last November, Antidote 10 includes more than 120 new features for English and French, including more than 2.5 million translations of words and expressions for its bilingual product. The Antidote 10 v2 update, released today, offers all the necessary tools for its multi-user use.

The multi-user version of Antidote 10 consists of three separate products: Antidote 10 – English, Antidote 10 – French and Antidote 10 – Bilingual. As of tomorrow, those subscribed to the Antidote Maintenance Program (AMP) will find their free upgrade in their Client Portal. Users who have not renewed their AMP subscription can upgrade their Antidote at a discounted price. In both cases, a special crossgrade privilege allows users to switch from a single-language licence to Antidote 10 – Bilingual. Regardless of the Antidote product chosen, organizations that wish to purchase a licence can take advantage of a sliding price scale available for licences for five or more workstations.

Antidote 10 v2 can be deployed from a server either locally or in shared mode (run from source). It can also be deployed through Remote Desktop Services (RDS), using the Group Policy (GPO) defined by the organization if necessary. It introduces many new settings for network installation including controls on Internet access from Antidote, forced activation of a filter for inappropriate content and the option of obligatory email verification by Anti-Oops!. Network administrators will also appreciate no longer having to worry about redistributable libraries.

Druide is taking the opportunity to offer a whole new Client Portal to its multi-user customers. The Client Portal brings all an organization’s licences together in one place and provides a comprehensive overview through a practical new dashboard. It also includes all the authorized installers and links to the revised documentation for the network version and detailed release notes. Multiple users can be invited to manage the Portal and to log in using a Druid account, Google, Facebook or Office 365.

Antidote 10 v2 also brings numerous improvements to Antidote’s comprehensive tools. The corrector now launches more quickly and is more precise than ever. More than 1500 new words and expressions such as _sublimissime, intrapreneuriat _and coefficient synaptique have been added in French. Meanwhile 2000 new words such as _mudlark, hip-hopper _and naked shorting have been added in English. More than 38 000 new translations have been added for the benefit of users of Antidote 10 – Bilingual. New synonyms, combinations etymologies and guide articles are all included as part of this major free update.
