Communication-Jeunesse (CJ) has unveiled the books featured in its CJ, qu’est-ce qu’on lit? selection for Fall 2023, revealing that Les Abysses, tome 1 — La mine, written by Annie Bacon and illustrated by Mathieu Benoit, is among them!

CJ’s mission is to promote reading and thereby introduce young people aged 0 to 17 to original, varied and high-quality French-language literature from Quebec and across Canada.
