Dunord Awarded the Druide Grand Prize for Business Creation
On May 2, Dunord was awarded the Druide Grand Prize for Business Creation at the Montréal region’s 25th Défi OSEntreprendre Gala. The award includes a $3000 grant and various services to help grow the winning business. Druide also presented the six official category winners with a copy of Antidote+, featuring access to the entire product line.
Druide Informatique has partnered with the OSEntreprendre Challenge since 2012, and the Druide Grand Prize was established as a result to recognize the top project out of all winners in the Business Creation section.
This year’s Challenge participants submitted more than 80 projects to this section, with six of them each winning awards in one of the official categories. Impressed by the positive environmental impact of the project led by founder Jonathan Dumas, formerly Growth Manager at Lufa Farms, the Druide Grand Prize’s Business Creation award panel chose Dunord from among these winning companies.
Dunord takes surplus produce from local farms and uses it to make long-lasting dehydrated meals to reduce food waste. Available in grocery stores or from dunord.club, these meal pouches cook up quickly with a little water to create an affordable, easy-to-make, eco-friendly dish.
Druide Informatique produces and markets Antidote, the most comprehensive writing assistance software suite available for English and French, as well as Typing Pal, the renowned typing tutorial application.
