Aliments JM inc. Wins Druide’s Grand Prize for Entrepreneurship
At the 21st Défi OSEntreprendre gala for the region of Montreal that took place on April 30th, Les Aliments JM inc. won Druide’s Grand Prize for Entrepreneurship, earning $3000 and several services. The winners in each official category also received a copy of Druide’s renowned software, Antidote.
Druide informatique has been affiliated with the Défi OSEntreprendre, formerly known as Concours québécois en entrepreneuriat, for the last eight years. Druide’s principal contribution has been the introduction of the Grand Prize for Entrepreneurship, awarded to the best winning project in the entrepreneurship category.
This year, participants submitted over 170 projects, seven of which won in official categories. Out of these seven winners, the jury for Druide’s Grand Prize for Entrepreneurship selected Aliments JM inc. They were won over by the quality of the products and Julien Morin’s approach. It’s a matter of family and taste buds: while his grandfather spent his life in search of the perfect mustard, the new entrepreneur decided to create it himself.
Les Aliments JM inc. relies on the purity of ingredients and on processes faithful to the artisanal method to concoct top quality condiments with character. La Morin mustard, its flagship product, is made with Canadian mustard grains and specifically designed to make your nose tingle, as a good mustard should. More than 360 points of sale in Quebec, Canada and the United States carry the full selection of La Morin products.
Druide informatique produces and markets Antidote, the most comprehensive writing assistance software suite available for English and French, as well as Typing Pal, the renowned typing tutorial application. The company is also the creator of WebElixir, a quality assurance service for websites, while its subsidiary, Éditions Druide, specializes in the publication of French-language literature and reference works.
