Aux toilettes Wins the 2017 Prix Peuplier

The Forest of Reading presented its awards for French-language literature at the Festival of Trees, held on May 18 in Toronto. The picture book Aux toilettes, written by André Marois and illustrated by Pierre Pratt, managed to charm the young jury and win the Prix Peuplier. This six-time award-winning book is published in the “motif(s)” collection.

The Forest of Reading is organized by the Ontario Library Association and attracts more than 250,000 participants each year. Its Prix Peuplier is aimed at young beginner readers, presenting them with the best Canadian French-Language picture books published in the last year.
